Log Files and information we collect automatically

These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement on the website, and may include demographic information.

Where required, we will anonymize or dispose of the information we collect when we no longer need it for the uses described above.

Your browser or device may include “Do-Not-Track” settings or functionality. Currently, our systems do not recognize browser “Do-Not-Track” requests. Cookies policy and tracking technologies

The AI Safety Network works with service providers to provide its website. This is the Cookie Policy for AI Safety Network, accessible from https://aisafetynetwork.org.

What are cookies
As is common practice with almost all professional websites, this site may use cookies, which are tiny files that are downloaded to your computer to improve your experience. This page describes what information they gather, how we use it, and why we sometimes may need to store these cookies. We also share here how you can prevent these cookies from being stored; however, this may downgrade or 'break' certain elements of the site's functionality.

How we may use cookies
There may be limited cases when we use cookies for some reasons that we detail below. Unfortunately, in most cases, there are no industry standard options for disabling cookies without completely disabling the functionality and feature they add to the site. It is recommended that you leave on all cookies if you are unsure whether you need them or not in case they are used to provide a service you use.

Disabling cookies
You can prevent the setting of cookies by adjusting the settings on your browser (see your browser Help for how to do this). Be aware that disabling cookies will usually result in also disabling certain functionality and features of the site. Therefore, it is recommended that you do not disable cookies.

The cookies we may set
Site preference cookies — To provide you with a great experience on this site, we may provide the functionality to set your preferences for how this site runs when you use it. To remember your preferences, we may need to set cookies so that this information can be called whenever you interact with a page that is affected by your preference.

Cookies and analytics at AI Safety Network
Our website has built-in analytics to provide a core set of metrics and count unique visitors, page views, top sources, and top pages. When a user visits the site, the IP address and user agent are hashed with a daily rotating secret (salt) that resets and deletes daily to calculate daily unique visitors. As a result, visitors who visit our site multiple times on the same day will count as one unique visitor. Framer Analytics does not track, collect, or store any data or information that identifies a person — to learn more, please read the Framer privacy statement to understand how Framer collects data (https://www.framer.com/legal/privacy-statement/). The data that is collected to provide the Framer website analytics in our Dashboard is entirely anonymized and cannot be traced back to an individual. Accordingly, we do not use, and are not required to use a cookie banner on this site, as we do not use cookies or generate any persistent identifiers. We do not use any tracking cookies.

More information
We hope this information clarifies our Cookie Policy. If there is something you aren’t sure whether you need, it’s usually safer to leave cookies enabled in case they interact with one of the features you use on our site. However, if you are still looking for more information, you can always contact us at contact@aisafetynetwork.org and we’ll happily assist with your inquiry.
